Teton Village, Wyoming — Corbet’s Couloir gets all the hype, but its neighbor is probably the toughest inbounds run not only at Jackson Hole, but maybe the whole country.
S&S Couloir required skiers to ride a rock wall down onto the snow and then make a sharp turn to avoid slamming into the rocks. Wile E. Coyote would be proud of you, though. Only the best skiers can put their instincts together for this one.
In this video by Killerkilmain’s dad, a skier reportedly is the first to make turns on S&S Couloir for the season. In prior videos, I’ve seen the rock face look a bit snowier. This time around, the skier got a nice base grind out of it. The video is a great showcase of what makes Jackson Hole and its skier different. “Wow” is right.
