Chinese ski resort offers guests the opportunity to be carried down the mountain by instructors.

The Northeast Asia Ski Resort in Shenyang, Liaoning, China, offers a service quite unlike any others, with instructors carrying guests down the slopes as a part of a $700 birthday package.

According to the South China Morning Post, the birthday service can be customized and priced to each celebrator’s desires. In the case of the ride down the trail, the guest and ski instructor are flanked by balloons, music, banners, cakes, and more.

The birthday package is apparently part of the resort’s official โ€œcarry skiingโ€ service, which allows anyone to be carried down the slopes in an instructors arms or on an instructors back, all without knowing how to ski or snowboard.

The service apparently costs around 300 yuan (~$43 USD) an hour per instructor, with most instructors beingย young men with professional training. The service must be booked in advance. Additionally, the resort offers 2 hour one-on-one ski lessons for 650 yuan, or around $90 USD.
