Franconia, New Hampshire โ€” Did you know that Cannon has night skiing? After years of offering it on a limited basis, Cannon plans to have the lights on every Friday and Saturday night for at least the next month.

Cannon Mountain recently announced it will host night skiing on the Huckebrook trail. This will be offered every Friday and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. It will be offered starting tonight until some point in February.

The best part of this new offering? Lift tickets are free. All you need is your Cannon RFID card.

The Huckebrook Park is situated next to the Peabody Lodge and Peabody Express chairlift. Currently, Huckerbrook has seven features on the trail. It’s directly accessible via the Huckerbrook Handle Tow. While it’s a limited setup, terrain park skiers and riders will love this announcement.

Cannon has hosted night skiing on Huckerbrook before, so it’s not exactly new. However, what is new is that it is being offered this frequently, as its openings for night skiing were typically sparse.

Cannon has had a good start to the season. So far, the ski resort has 35 trails and 8 lifts open. It should be noted that the aerial tramway is closed for the next few years as its replacement is determined. However, all of Cannon’s terrain remains accessible from its operational lifts.
