NFL legend Marshawn “Beast Mode” Lynch never went snowboarding in the Pacific Northwest during his seven years as a Seattle Seahawk but he is finally out of the league and decided it was time to hit the slopes.

Lynch joined pro snowboarder and X-Games gold medalist Zeb Powell to slide around Winter Park, Colorado and its good thing he is used to taking bumps because his first day snowboarding was shall we say a bit tough.

Aside from taking on new sports post-retirement, Lynch has become a photographer and is a credentialed sideline shooter for the NFL. He brought his camera rig along on the adventure and ended up getting some sweet snaps of Zeb soaring through the park.

Nice to see Beast Mode enjoying his life off the field. His experience snowboarding goes to show its not easy to pick up even for a world class athlete and it’s not about falling down, its about getting back up.
