At 88-years-old, this guy decided it was time to get back on the slopes and he was absolutely ripping. Shared by his son, Jake and his wife were apparently the first passengers on the first chairlift ride on opening day at Colorado’s Purgatory Resort in the 1960s.
According to the video, Purgatory gave Jake a lifetime ski pass to honor his commitment to the sport, and a photo of he and his wife hang behind the bar at the Powderhouse. There’s a lot of committed skiers in this world, some a lot more committed than others.
