For many, the après scene of a ski resort is as or more important than the skiing itself. A few laps on the slopes are there just to compliment the partying and drinking in the bars and clubs at the base of the mountain. East Coast ski resorts aren’t necessarily known for the massive villages and epic après scene, but most areas have at least a bar or two. The base of Quebec’s Mont Tremblant Ski Resort, however, stands out for its proper après ski scene.

Tremblant stands out from the pack for its combination of size and hassle-free nature. The resort boasts a generous 755 acre skiable footprint, high speed lifts in all but a handful of terrain areas, including a flagship gondola that really comes in handy on cold days and an easy to navigate footprint that like Mont-Sainte-Anne offers access to the vast majority of terrain directly from the resort summit. And speaking of terrain, the resort seems to have enjoyable options for everyone with abundant terrain variety, ranging from mellow groomers to expert level tree trails. Finally, the resort has by far the best base village of any East Coast ski mountain with a walkable setup that actually provides for a pretty extensive après experience, something you usually don’t get unless you go out west. #peakrankings #werankpeaks #skieurope #skivacation #mountains #winter #skitrip #travel #landscape #snowboarding #wintertrip #skiusa #skiingisfun #powder

The allure of Mont Tremblant isn’t just in its après scene. The ski area is home 754 acres of skiing and snowboarding, with 102 trails serving everything from beginner to expert skiers. The mountain’s summit sits at 2,870 feet, with the resort offering 2,116 feet of vertical. All-in-all, if you’re looking for a truly unique ski experience without leaving North America, Mont Tremblant is a great place to find it.
