Alta, Utah — When you enter the Wildcat parking lot, one run at Alta stands out.
Reached via the High Traverse, High Rustler is one of the toughest ski runs in Utah. Its steep and unrelenting pitch gives even the best skiers (not riders) trouble.
In the first episode of the new season of Return of the Turn, Marcus Caston shows his skills on High Resulter. Caston praised the run for its memorable journey to reach it, uninterrupted fall line, and big moguls.
It should be said that High Rustler is also a very fun run to ski on a powder day. However, experts who love skiing bumps will want to hit this run during the springtime. The moguls are in peak form, and the corn is in harvest.
Alta is open for the season. High Ruslter is open, albeit with thin coverage.
