Alaska’s Eaglecrest Ski Area is closed today as an emergency break in the main water line supplying the lodges has left no water at the ski resort. The closure is for both guest and staff safety.
According to a statement shared on their social media, Eagle Crest is currently working to resolve the issue and will release updates as more information becomes available.

Eaglecrest has seen 66 inches of snowfall since opening day this season, with a snowpack sitting at 39 inches at the summit. The resort has an annual snowfall average of 320 inches, though their record season brought 640 inches of snow.
