Shiffrin wins @ Courchevel, France

Congratulations to Mikaela Shiffrin who has had a scratch season so far in slalom with a prefect record of four events and four wins. Her latest victory went down in Courchevel, France where she extending her winning tally to 105 World Cups (everytime she wins the record is broken and reset).

Shiffrin has won the opening four slaloms of the 2025/2026 season and five straight including the final race of last season. She is not only winning these events, she is dominating them, beating her competitors by an average of more than 1.5 seconds which may sound close but is a an absolute shellacking in the world of ski racing where athletes frequently scrap out wins by mere tenths or hundredths of seconds.

Very promising start to season where Shiffrin will represent Team USA at the Olympics in Italy. Very promising indeed.
