Sublette County, Wyoming — After a billionaire came through and purchased a ski resort in 2024, there were no immediate changes. However, the White Pine Resort just announced its first notable changes since new ownership arrived.

Yesterday, White Pine Resort revealed its rebrand. This includes a new logo, website, and trail map. The logo is simple and evokes a mountainous environment. The new website is working through the kinks, but it’s modern and easy to use. The new trail map shows the trail and provides a better perspective on its surroundings than the prior map. This rebrand will also include new gear and clothes at the ski resort’s retail shop.

The other major change is to its operating schedule. The ski resort will now operate Thursday-Sunday, and on select Mondays (i.e., Holiday periods). This will allow for “Fresh Tracks Thursdays,” with the possibility of guests getting a couple of days’ worth of powder.

About White Pine Resort

First opened in 1940, White Pine is one of the gems of Wyoming skiing. The ski area features 27 trails, 2 lifts, 363 skiable acres, and a vertical drop of 1,000 feet. The ski area is also home to a tubing hill and a cross-country trail network.

In 2024, billionaire Joe Ricketts purchased the ski resort. Ricketts is known as the founder and former CEO of TD Ameritrade and the owner of the Chicago Cubs. Since the new ownership, changes to the ski resort have been minimal. However, with this rebrand, we’ll see if that remains the case.

White Pine is scheduled to open for the 2025-26 season on December 12th.

They knocked it out of the park with the new trail map imo.
