SLVSH, a game that’s usually played in the terrain park, can work darn well on the rest of the mountain when the right athletes are involved.
If you don’t know SLVSH, it’s basically the ski version of the popular H.O.R.S.E. basketball game. Skier 1 throws a trick and skier 2 has to try and replicate it. If they fail, they get a letter. If they succeed, skier 1 throws another trick. Once skier 1 messes up a trick, they switch places and skier 2 gets to determine the tricks.
The SLVSH league travels around the world pitting top-notch skiers against each other, and while it’s usually done in the park, all mountain games are a ton of fun. The most recent competition saw Freeride pros Ross Tester and Tristen Lilly competing on the slopes of Alta, and it was seriously something.
