Downhill mountain biking is a truly jaw-dropping sport. It is easily among the fastest cycling competition, sending racers at breakneck pace down mountains, over massive jumps, and through seriously sketchy rock gardens. This year’s World Cup season was an exciting one, and the Sleeper Collective has done a great job at putting together a proper highlight reel.

The 2025 women’s downhill season saw Austrian Valentina Hรถll take first place, with Canadian Gracey Hemstreet in second and British rider Tahnee Seagrave in third. The men’s season was dominated by Canadian Jackson Goldstone, a 21-year-old beast. In second place was French rider Loic Bruni, and American Luca Shaw took third. The 2026 Downhill World Cup season starts between May 1st-3rd at the Race of South Korea.
