Congratulations to Mikaela Shiffrin who won the Copper Mountain women’s slalom marking her 104th FIS Ski World Cup victory and her 12th on home snow at the Copper Mountain. The American racer secured her 67th Slalom win in front of raucous crowd of 11,000 and officially secure her spot for the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympics. Mikaela won in commanding fashion finishing 1.57 seconds ahead of Lena Dürr.

Shiffrin has a perfect sheet coming out of Colorado as she has gone three for three in slalom races this season. It was definitely a just a matter of time before Miki qualified for her fourth Winter Olympics but achievement but its nice to have the wrapped up early in the competition season. Can’t wait to see her take the gates in Italy!
