Slinger, Wisconsin — A small ski area in Wisconsin has made various improvements for this winter, which is set to begin later this week.
Yesterday, Little Switzerland revealed its operating schedule for the next few weeks and what projects they’ve worked on this offseason. Snowmaking was a core focus, with new pipelines added to 41 Park. A new Prinoth snow groomer has been acquired, leading to a more reliable on-snow product. Lastly, the Upper Chalet saw a significant refresh, with new tables, chairs, booths, and carpets. A new leader has also been appointed, with Greg Fisher being hired as the General Manager. He has years of experience at other Midwest ski areas, including work as the Chief Marketing Officer with Midwest Family Ski Resorts.
During the 2026 offseason, two new quad chairlifts are planned for installation. The new lifts will replace 1|2 Chair.
Little Switzerland’s first day on the slopes will be November 29th, an exclusive day for season passholders. On November 30th, the slopes will be open to the public. From December 1st to 4th, the ski area will be closed again for a snowmaking push. The mountain will begin daily operations on December 5th.
