It’s looking more and more like ski season in Colorado, with three resorts already open to skiers and snowboarders and three more set to open this weekend. Keystone Resort opened first on Saturday, October 25th, followed by Arapahoe Basin on Sunday, October 26th and Winter Park Resort on Friday, October 31st. The following three resorts will be the next in the state to open, assuming there’s no surprise announcements in the coming days.
Breckenridge – November 7th
Breckenridge is set to start spinning lifts on Friday, November 7th, from 9am to 4pm. It’s not exactly clear which lifts and trails will be open for the first day of the season as of yet, but lift tickets are available for as low as $162 if bought online.
Copper Mountain – November 7th
Skiing has sort of already started at Copper Mountain, but only for athlete training. The mountain is set to open to the public beginning on Friday, November 7th, at 8:55am. The American Eagle Lift will be spinning with DJs playing tunes throughout the day and free hot chocolate & power bars being offered between 7:30am and 9:30am at Eagle’s Landing.
Loveland Ski Area
Loveland Ski Area is finally kicking off the 2025/2026 ski season with top-to-bottom turns on Catwalk, Mambo, and Home Run on Saturday, November 8th.
