Arapahoe Basin will be the first ski area to open in Colorado, assuming no other resorts or areas make surprise announcements before then. Black Mountain Express will begin spinning at 8:30am and run until 4pm, with on High Noon, a mountain-blue run, open to skiers and riders.

“This season is an opportunity for us to show everyone who A-Basin is. For folks with the Ikon Pass, this may be your first time visiting us. For our returning community, we’d like to reintroduce ourselves – we’re the same A-Basin you know and love, only maybe even a little better.” – Arapahoe Basin President & COO Alan Henceroth

Opening day will feature giveaways, donuts for the first guests in line, and live music all day long. Get those skis and snowboards out folks. Ski season is finally starting!
