New Mountain Hardwear Ski Kit Uses 100% Recycled GORE‑TEX

Mountain Hardwear just debuted their top end ski and snowboard kit for the 2025/2026 winter season and it’s looking pretty sweet. Designers took 30+ years of research and development from their alpine and snow divisions and crammed it all into a jacket and bib combo they claim to be their most technically engineered and protective snow gear in the history of the company.

Notably, the new Mythogen Kit features 100% recycled 3-layer 80D GORE‑TEX PRO face fabric promoting a reduced carbon footprint, while remaining extremely rugged. This cutting edge fabric was put through the same stringent testing protocols as all GORE‑TEX Products including rigorous real world field tests and some done in labs like their legendary rain room which moves a mannequin through the equivalent of 22 inches of water per hour from all angles. All the protection, less waste…we love it.
