“Whether you’re chuckin’ cast iron, throwin’ axes, or just crushin’ a Moxie and takin’ it all in, this is the way fall’s meant to be celebrated.” -Sunday River
No better way to celebrate the fall season in the Northeast than to head on up to Sunday River in Maine for their annual Flannel Fest. Inspired by Maine history of logging, Flannel Fest features lives music, timber sports, skillet tossing competitions and look-a-like contest for Maine’s finest athlete, Donny Pelletier. It’s always a hoot and great way to spend a day on the mountain before the winter season kicks off. Can’t wait to see this year’s Donny doppelgangers double fisting Moxy in buffalo plaid shirts and jeans. What a tradition!

Full Send Flannel
Aight bub, it’s time to haul out the ol’ flannel and head up to Sunday River for Flannel Fest—a full day of hard-nosed, good-timin’, Maine-style fall fun. We’re talkin’ lumberjack vibes, legendary competitions, and a whole lotta plaid.
This here shindig’s inspired by Maine’s own logging roots and the state’s greatest athlete (don’t even argue it)—Donny Pelletier. Whether you’re chuckin’ cast iron, throwin’ axes, or just crushin’ a Moxie and takin’ it all in, this is the way fall’s meant to be celebrated.
Wear your best flannel (bonus points if it’s older than your truck), bring the crew, and get ready for a wicked good time.
