Granby, Colorado The Indy Pass continues to expand its ski industry presence, as it will now partner with independent ski shops for the upcoming winter.

Today, the Indy Pass announced that it will partner with Winter Sports Retailers (WSR), an independent ski and snowboard retailers association. This means that Indy Passholders will receive exclusive discounts on gear and tune-ups at participating shops. The WSR Association comprises over 200 independent ski shops across the US. Many are expected to join the program for this upcoming ski season.

“Independent ski shops compete with corporate groups and big box retailers, and we welcome this alliance with the only pass that represents like-minded ski areas”, said WSR Board Member, Stefan Hausberger.

Indy Passholders will now be able to receive 15% off regularly priced products and 20% off ski and board tune-ups at participating ski shops. All they need to do is show the shop their pass. We don’t know the official list of vendors yet, but Indy Pass plans to announce the lineup of up to 100 vendors on October 1st.

“If independent ski areas are the heart and soul of skiing, then independent ski shops are the backbone. This partnership is a win for small businesses, everyday skiers and riders, and the Indy movement,” said Erik Mogensen, CEO of Indy Pass and Entabeni Systems.

Last month, Indy’s 2025-26 pass partners were announced. Additionally, more ski resorts are planned to be added to the pass for this upcoming winter.

Time is running out to buy an Indy Pass for this upcoming winter, as it’s nearly sold out. Indy Pass plans to announce the final day to buy a pass, along with the new partners, in the near future.
