With Arapahoe Basin Ski Area‘s sale to Alterra Mountain Company, changes to their perks and operations for the upcoming seasons were inevitable. Now we’re getting a look at those changes. From unlimited skiing and riding for Ikon Pass holders to new dining experiences and events on the mountain, here’s a look at what’s new for Arapahoe Basin heading into the 2025/26 ski season.

Pass Changes at Arapahoe Basin

There’s several changes going into effect for ski passes at Arapahoe Basin this season. For instance, full Ikon Pass holders will be able to access the mountain all season long with no restrictions, no limits, and no blackout dates. Plus they’ll be able to access Early Ups every second Friday of the month from December 2025 to April 2026.

Ikon Base Pass holders can ski or snowboard for 5 days, and those who use any of their five days before December 20, 2025, earn up to 5 bonus lift tickets for spring use. Additionally, Ikon Base Pass holders will also be able to take advantage of the Early Ups.

A-Basin Season Pass holders receive a $50 online credit for lift tickets, retail, rentals, lessons, or events, a $25 lift ticket usable by anyone anytime during the 25/26 season, and 2 complimentary unguided days at Silverton. A-Basin Midweek Pass holders gain unlimited access from opening day 2025 to December 14th, 2025, and May 4th, 2026, to closing day 2026.

New Dining Experiences and Events

Arapahoe Basin is already home to many well loved events, but the 2025/26 season comes with several new activities to look forward to. This includes a Turkey Trot Thanksgiving Uphill Race, a Mimosa Bar every Sunday in November on the Perch, DJ sets at Black Mountain Lodge every Saturday in November, an ice bar at Black Mountain Lodge in March, and a Kids Ski Free week taking place between December 6th and 12th (for kids 12 and under).
