With the passing of Labor Day, the unofficial end of the American summer, skiers and snowboarders are starting in earnest to look forward to their first turns of the 2025-2026 winter season. While the actual end of summer is marked by theย autumnal equinox (Monday, September 22, 2025) we have some news for all you Colorado winter lovers eager to get on the slopes thanks to the good folks at Colorado Ski Country USA who have compiled a comprehensive list of ski resort opening days in the Centennial State.

Remember folks, these dates are weather dependent but you can get a pretty good idea of when resorts are going to start spinning lifts if Mother Nature plays ball. Think snowy thoughts and start doing squats. Cheers.
