Over the past weekend, Arizona Snowbowl hosted a unique, brand new dining experience with the Shift Your Viewpoint Dinner on August 24th. The dining experience offered a remarkable meal service aboard the Arizona Gondola, with cabins fitted with specially designed tables.

The ski area hosted the dinner in collaboration with Flagstaff favoritesย Shift Kitchenย andย Oeno Wine Lounge on Sunday. Chefs from Shift prepared a five-course tasting menu on-site while Oeno Wine Lounge provided curated wine selections.

Guests received a new course and wine pairing every 18-minute gondola lap while servers presented each dish as the cabins returned to the base. In total the event ran for 90 minutes, concluding at sunset in order to present guests withย sweeping views of the San Francisco Peaks at golden hour.

โ€œWeโ€™re truly grateful for Shift Kitchen and Oeno Wine Lounge creating a dynamic menu that paired their passion for culinary excellence with our unique setting. We look forward to collaborating with other talented local restaurants to bring more unforgettable dining experiences aboard the Arizona Gondola.โ€ – Angie Grubb, marketing manager at Arizona Snowbowl.

Arizona Snowbowl does intend to host further gondola dinners, partnering with Flagstaff favorites Satchmoโ€™s BBQ and Mother Road Brewing Company for a September 28th meal. Tickets will be available when released on the Arizona Snowbowl Event Page.
