While many of us in the Northern Hemisphere are stuck enjoying biking, hiking, and other warm weather sports, skiers and snowboarders in Chile are shredding on over 5 feet of snow that’s landed over the past week. 163cm of snow, or 64.2 inches, have fallen onto the slopes of Chile’s Valle Nevado resort.
The entire 2025 season at Valle Nevado has seen 161.8 inches of snow, or 411cm. In the last 7 days, 64.2 inches, or 163cm, fell on the slopes. The last 48 hours hours brought a total of 21.3 inches, or 54cm.
With the new snowfall on the ground, all 13 lifts are open. Nearly every trail is open as well, excluding the 2 freestyle trails.
