MAINE – Maine’s largest ski resort opened one of its biggest terrain expansions in February of 2024. Sugarloaf‘s West Mountain expansion introduced 12 new beginner and intermediate trails over 120 skiable acres and a new high-speed quad chairlift, the Bucksaw Express. The new addition came with extensive space for slope side real estate as well, prompting the sale of multiple plots like Dutchman Woods. Now Sugarloaf has announced their next offering, a set of brand new mountain homes at Maine’s largest ski resort.

Snowcross Mountain Homes

Snowcross Mountain Homes, the newest slopeside neighborhood at Sugarloaf, is offered exclusively through Mountainside Real Estate. The new neighborhood will include 12 homes inspired by a Nordic alpine spirit. Their design will maximize daylight while providing dramatic views of the nearby mountains.

When snow is on the ground, residents will be able to enjoy ski-in/ski-out trail access. Both the Bucksaw Express Quadย and West Mountain Double are accessible from the neighborhood. In the summer, the stunning Sugarloaf Golf Club is just a few minutes away.

Trailside Community

The brand new mountain homes were designed to provide a sense of comfort. The rooms foster warmth and interaction, with multiple living areas including broad and expansive windows to allow the outside in. Plenty of storage and custom features keep the houses suitable for year-round recreation.

The new West Mountain trails provide access for all skill levels, and the new high-speed Bucksaw Express makes West Mountain an ideal location for those hoping to find their home in the Sugarloaf Community. If you want to learn more about these homes and be among the first to learn more, head to the Sugarloaf Mountainside Real Estate website.
