JACKSON HOLE, Wyoming – Professional big mountain skier and Jackson Hole local Owen Leeper hit the trails on the first day of summer in search of some warm-weather ski turns, heading up Buck Mountain in Grand Teton National Park to get on snow.
“What’s more fun than climbing a mountain and skiing on the summer solstice? Not much, so we headed up Buck Mountain in Teton National Park to see what we could find for skiing.” – Owen Leeper
Unfortunately good snow was pretty much non-existent near the summit, but they were able to find a nice natural pond skim to celebrate the longest day of the year.
