Park City, Utah — It’s been the busiest offseason ever at Deer Valley, with seven new lifts scheduled to open for the 2025-26 season. For those who love to see this work come to life, there’s the chance to do so from a cool location.

Last week, Deer Valley Resort announced that it will be hosting a viewing party for the tower installations of the East Village Gondola and Pinyon Express chairlift. This will be followed by the Live Music at Silver Lake, a concert event that will also feature food trucks and activities for all ages.

Lift tickets cost $30 per person, but kids can go for free if they’re accompanied by an adult. It’s another way for Deer Valley to promote its scenic lift rides, which are available daily off the Sultan Express and Silver Lake Express chairlifts. Tickets can be purchased here.

Over eighty trails and seven lifts will make their debut at Deer Valley next season. The East Village Gondola will feature a mid-station at Big Dutch Peak. This gondola will provide access to terrain for all ability levels. Ending near the top station of the gondola, Vulcan Express will service mostly intermediate and advanced terrain. Serving the same terrain pod as Vulcan will be the Revelator Express. However, this will be a shorter length than Vulcan, and it appears to cater more towards advanced skiers. Next to these two lifts is the Pinyon Express, which will be another bubble chairlift for Deer Valley. It will cater to beginners who want to experience high-alpine terrain.

Back in the East Village, the Pioche Express will connect skiers to beginner and intermediate terrain around the Pioche Village. Starting in the Pioche Village, the Neptune Express will service the same terrain as the Pioche Express. Lastly, the Galena Express will be an alternative way of experiencing the terrain that opened last winter.
