From ancient forests to powerful rivers, Canada’s ecosystems support life, culture, and livelihoods. But they’re under threat—from climate change, invasive species, and habitat loss. Parks Canada is working with Indigenous partners, scientists, and local communities to restore ecosystems, protect species at risk, and tackle the climate and biodiversity crises head-on.
