If you have early bedtime you may want to consider briefly adjusting your sleep cycle to partake in the 4th Annual Southeast Utah Astronomy Festival. AstroFest 2025 will feature a series of day and nighttime events focused on Utah’s famous dark-sky views of the cosmos. It is scheduled for June 20th, 21st, and 22nd and will take place throughout each day in multiple locations including Arches National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park, and Canyonlands National Park.

Get ready to embark on a journey through the cosmos at the 4th annual Southeast Utah AstroFest, the ultimate astronomy festival happening under the vast skies of Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, and Dead Horse Point State Park!
Join park rangers for daytime and evening astronomy programs, telescope viewing, and family friendly activities at locations throughout the parks.
Day 1: Friday, June 20 Island in the Sky District, Canyonlands National Park
Day 2: Saturday, June 21 at Dead Horse Point State Park
Day 3: Sunday, June 22 at Arches National Park

Plan Ahead, Be Prepared
Watch the weather. Telescope viewing may be canceled or affected by clouds or storms. Programs and telescope viewing may be canceled in the event of lightning.
Arrive early. Parking may fill at program locations. We recommend arriving before 9 pm to secure a parking spot.
Be prepared. Please bring a red flashlight, sturdy shoes, reflective or high visibility clothing, and warm layers.
Attending all events is free with park admission.
Pets are discouraged. Please find suitable care for furry friends, as pets are not allowed at the program locations and leaving pets inside vehicles for the duration of the event is not recommended.
