Mammoth Mountain Dump Alert | Photo Credit: @christianpondella

Mammoth Lakes, CA – Mammoth Mountain is getting hammered by a winter storm that has dropped as much as 55″ of snow on the California ski resort. Conditions could not be better for skiers and riders for this Presidents Day Weekend.

Double Dump Alert!ย We’ve received 35-55″ of snowfallย in the past 24 hours and we could not be happier to be measuring this storm in FEET. Snowfall is expected to continue through tomorrow afternoon, with clear skies in the forecast just in time for the weekend. Keep an eye on theย Caltrans Websiteย for current road conditionsย and always travel with chains in your car.ย

More snow is in the forecast, with as much of another foot of snow falling on the Sierra crest today. But be advised that there is an Avalanche warning in effect, so stay safe out there.
