Gridlock traffic in a Keystone Village parking lot lead to threats of violence last week, after a man refused to let a truck driver cut in front of his vehicle after the fireworks ended.

According to the Summit County Justice Files, a man, who had his children in the car, was approached by a truck that tried to cut in front of him from the side. The man, having already waiting for over an hour to get out of the parking lot, refused to give way.

In response, the truck driver rolled down his window and began shouting threats and insults at him, allegedly telling him he’d shoot him if the man didn’t have his kids with him. Fortunately no guns or weapons were spotted, and the man lost sight of the truck as traffic began to move along.

Upon response from deputies, the suspect was unable to be located. However the man does still want to press charges and the investigation is still ongoing.
