We’re very nearly at the new year, with 2025 screaming towards us at high speeds. What better way to celebrate a new year than getting on some serious powder? If you’re looking for mountains with the best of the best snow bases right now, you should be looking towards the Pacific Northwest. After just a few months of snowfall, there are at least six ski areas in North America that are heading into 2025 with a base depth above 100 inches.
Obviously the best snow conditions are going to be at locations that recently saw large snow dumps. Many of these areas have recently seen large snow dumps, but there are areas across North America that might have seen even bigger snowfalls in the past few days. Nonetheless, these are some of the places that you should be heading towards if you want to make sure the bases of your skis or snowboards stay intact.
