Tamarack Resort and Brundage, two independently owned Idaho ski resorts, have seen a healthy amount of snowfall over the past few days despite neither of them having started spinning their lifts.

Tamarack Resort has gotten less snow that Brundage out of the recent storm, seeing a total of 8 inches hit the ground in the last 24 hours and 9 inches in the last 48 hours. That brings their season total to a reasonable 33 inches, with a 20 inch base at the mountain’s summit.

Meanwhile things have been looking a bit deeper at Brundage. According to their snow report, 8 inches of snow has fallen since 4:30pm on Sunday alone, with 13 inches in the past 24 hours and 15 inches in the past 48 hours. That brings their week snow total up to just under a foot, and their total season snowfall up to 49 inches. Right now, the Brundage summit has a base of 17 inches.

Neither Tamarack Resort nor Brundage have opened quite yet. We’re still waiting to hear official opening days from both mountains, though Brundage has stated their target opening date for Friday, November 29. With all this snowfall, and a bit more forecasted for later this week, hopefully lifts will be spinning in no time!
