THANK YOU KIMBO
THANK YOU KIMBO

Kimbo Sessions is one of the cooler freestyle skiing events to happen every year. It isn’t a competition and it isn’t really broadcast on the internet like other freestyle events. Instead it acts as a gathering of around 70 of the best freestyle skiers from around the world, ripping it up at the Kläppen Ski Resort in Sweden, where skiing is possible late into the night.

Kimbo Sessions happens in the spring every year, with the sun setting late and skiers riding all day long. It presents an opportunity for filming on a uniquely built park without the distraction of less-than-sick skiers hanging around, and it often leads to some of the best edits of the year.

Alex Hall and Hunter Hess, two of the world’s best freestyle skiers, were there this past year, shooting and riding for five long and stunning days. Though they’ve released some Kimbo content in the past, they just released their “THANK YOU KIMBO” edit to their MAGMA YouTube channel.

We miss it and hope to go back. Kimbo Sessions is an amazing event held every year in Kläppen Snowpark, Sweden. It’s 5 days of the best park riding with the best park people (lol). Thank you Kim for putting it all together! We appreciate you for it.
