Brighton, Utah — Brighton Resort has had the most comprehensive night skiing trail and lift network in Utah for years. This upcoming winter, they may have a case for having the best night skiing network in North America.

Yesterday, Brighton Resort announced they are adding night lights to the Mt. Millicent terrain pod. Known by guests as Milly, this terrain pod has typically closed for the day at 4 pm. Now, it will remain open into the evenings. The Milly trails that will be open during the evening have yet to be announced. The US Forest Service approval document lists the expansion as adding 138 light poles across 45 acres of existing terrain.

The move follows Brighton’s addition of night lights to Snake Creek during the 2021-22 season. Over the past few years, they’ve added a couple more trails off Snake Creek to the night skiing network. In addition to Snake Creek, they also have night skiing off the Crest 6, Majestic, and Explorer chairlifts.

Brighton Resort also recently announced some major news regarding mountain biking. Their first downhill mountain biking trail opened last Friday. The Easy Rider trail is designated as a beginner route and can be accessed by riding the Majestic chairlift on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
