DURANGO, Colorado – Colorado’s Purgatory Ski Resort has announced its 2024-2025 ski season operating schedule, in addition to putting daily lift tickets on sale for as low as $9 a day. Purgatory is set to open on November 16 this fall, with daily operations continuing until April 13 and weekend operations continuing until April 27.

Purgatory 23/24 ski season

Purgatory’s 2024/25 ski season will come with several on-mountain upgrades. The Hermosa Park Express Lift #3 will open with a new low voltage safety control system, ensuring safety and reliability for years to come while improving access to many backside trails. The Purgatory retail footprint has also been expanded, including four new pickup stations for online purchases. With this, guests who’ve purchased online passes will be able to fully bypass the ticket offices.

Additionally, the Village Market & Deli is undergoing a complete renovation, while the Trail Maintenance team has been hard at work cleaning up and improving several popular ski runs across the mountain.

Tickets are on sale for Purgatory’s upcoming ski season now, and can be purchased here. Acting far ahead of time is definitely within your best interest, as Purgatory employs a dynamic model to their prices, adjusting and increasing based on demand. Right now, some tickets are available for as low as $9 a day (yes, that’s for adults), while the most expensive days are currently just $83. But those prices can, and likely will, go up.

Purgatory is also available on the Power Pass and, quite notably, on the Power Kids pass. The Power Kids pass gives kids 12 and under unlimited access to several resorts across the United States for FREE. Totally free. Pretty amazing way to help kids gain access to the sport, if you ask me.
