Garden City, Utah โ€” In a rapidly accelerating Utah ski industry, even Beaver Mountain, a mom-and-pop operation, is making some significant changes.

Beaver Mountain has been building a new base lodge since last year. It will be known as Marge’s Cabin, named after one of the original owners. Situated next to the Harry’s Dream chairlift, the 24,000-square-foot lodge will have a cafรฉ, retail shop, rental space, snow sports school meeting area, locker room, and a ticket office. There will also be a large deck where people can see skiers and riders shredding the slopes.

This week, Beaver Mountain provided a construction update on the project. The framing for the new lodge is beginning to take shape. However, it looks like a lot of work remains before it’s ready for guests.

They’re aiming to complete the lodge in the fall of 2024. After that, theyโ€™ll do some renovations to the Food Service Lodge.
