OURAY, Colorado – Owen Leeper’s ski season doesn’t end when the lifts close. Like many, he simply turns to the backcountry. Unlike a good chunk of the backcountry ski world, though, Owen Leeper shreds hard.
According to his Instagram, this was Cirque Mountain near Ouray, Colorado. Leeper seems to frequent Ouray this time of year, exploring and skiing the surrounding San Juan mountains. Last year he skied well into July, making a lot of us pretty jealous.
