Jon boats are one of the cheapest, most utilitarian vessels you will see out on the water. Characterized by their flat bottomed aluminum hulls and squared-off bows, jon boats got their start in the shallow waters in the Missouri Valley back in the late 1800s and have gained popularity amongst fishermen ever since.

Typically jon boats are about 10-feet long but this crew decided to test chop one up and stretch it like a limo. The result its the world’s longest jon baot (26 feet). Won’t cosign its seaworthiness but she sure is a head turner. She sat pretty low with 9 passengers and a dog but performed surprisingly well.
