Modul skier Daichi Hara sends a massive double backflip, wiping out in the process.

This has got to be one of the biggest airs we’ve ever seen in a mogul competition, even if he didn’t land it. This enormous double backflip was shot during the FIS World Championships in Deer Valley back in 2019. Japanese skier Daichi Hara just gets too much speed, launching himself far beyond the landing zone.

His competitor, American Bradley Wilson, looks like he’s going to loose control earlier, but manages to pull through until the end. Hara’s run gets a little rough, but I wouldn’t have guessed he would send it that far until he actually sends in that far, totally wiping out in the process.
