Hats off to Colorado Wildlife Officer Ty Smith who shimmied out on a spillway wall at a reservoir in southwest Colorado and roped a pair of mountain lion cubs. These little cats were super lucky as a staffer from the dam spotted them right before he was about to release water that would have likely washed them away. Colorado Parks and Wildlife stated the release of water likely would have drowned the two lions.
