Judging by the literature provided to Mark McMorris during his hospital visit, it appears the Olympic snowboarder suffered a concussion and some facial bruising after casing a powder landing. Best guess is he kneed himself in the face during the compression but its anyone’s guess what happened during this seemingly innocuous splash landing. Sending well wishes to one of our favorite snowboarders on the planet. That shiner is going to look sweet in a couple days:
