Park City, Utah- During the 2025-26 season, Deer Valley Resort will open the first phase of its massive East Village expansion. After partnering with Extell last year, Deer Valley will operate the long worked on Mayflower expansion, adding a new base village to the already massive Utah ski resort. This expansion will add 135 trails and sixteen lifts to Deer Valley when it is officially completed.

Deer Valley has begun to show off the new terrain to a few people, including a popular skiing YouTuber. This past weekend, skier Lucas Catania shared a video of him exploring the future expansion with Deer Valley employees. Catania has grown his YouTube audience over the past couple of years by getting in some phenomenal skiing footage, and this is among his best videos. The first couple of runs featured some great powder turns despite the poor visibility. The final run he took included some incredible views of the Jordanelle Reservoir and some of the new terrain.
