NORTH CREEK, New York — Great news for all you Gore Mountain skiers and snowboarders, they woke up to 3 inches of fresh snow this morning and conditions are looking primo going into Presidents Day weekend. They have over 25 miles of trails to explore so head on up to North Creek this holiday weekend and enjoy some of the best skiing in the East:

ALL MOUNTAIN AREAS OPEN & TONS OF GREAT TERRAIN TO EXPLORE!
Fresh powder alert! We got 3″ at the summit this morning! There are plenty of amazing ski trails to explore across all four peaks, with a wide variety of terrain to enjoy. Burnt Ridge Mountain is where those who love long cruising trails go; the Straight Brook Area and High Peaks on the Summit are all open for skiing. Topridge has great steeps, and the North Side offers a wonderful off-the-beaten-path experience. Northwoods has something for everyone, while Fairview and Foxlair provide steep and exciting runs. Don’t forget the Ski Bowl! Explore some classic terrain on our less-traveled peak. The terrain park also has some great features to check out. If you’re new to skiing or snowboarding, our Bear Cub Learning Zone has the easiest-rated terrain, specifically designed for those who are just starting to perfect their turns.

GEARING UP FOR PRESIDENTS’ WEEK:
Holiday President’s Week Tickets 2/17/24 – 2/25/24 may sell out.
Saturday & Sunday, 2/17-2/18, are SOLD OUT. Tickets will not be sold on the day of at the mountain.

PARKING DURING THE HOLIDAY: During periods of high visitation, we kindly advise against parking along the access road. Once our parking lots reach capacity, we encourage you to utilize the parking facilities at the ski bowl and take advantage of our shuttle service or begin your day from there. If you opt to park along the access road, please be aware that you do so at your own risk and may need to hike up to the venue. Kindly note that our shuttle buses are not authorized to make stops along the road. We also encourage you and your group to consider coordinating carpooling arrangements or utilizing our designated drop-off areas to help minimize congestion and ensure a smoother experience for all visitors.

SNOWMAKING & GROOMING: Temps look favorable again overnight which means we will continue making snow on Uncus, Headwaters, Twister, and Echo! Groomers will spruce up most of our trails, including steeps, for some fresh corduroy conditions in the morning. Wild Air and Pot Luck will be closed as groomers build up the USSS Holeshot Cross Tour (2/19-2/23) course and will reopen once finished.

ECHO, WILD AIR, AND POT LUCK: (2/16) ECHO closed until 11:30am. Wild Air and Pot Luck will be closed to build the USSS Holeshot Cross Tour course.

TERRAIN PARK! (2/16) Check out the Park on Upper & Lower Sleighride. Wild Air and Pot Luck will be closed as groomers build up the USSS Holeshot Cross Tour course. Don’t worry- Lower Sleighride will remain open! Freestylers can enter Forever Wild glades at the end of the trail to get back onto Showcase. The Park Crew made a sweet flow of features, jibs, and jumps. The Slopestyle completion course is now open on 2b & The Arena. The Park is filled with Slopestyle features and XL jumps.  We are building the Holeshot Cross Tour course on Wild Air, Pot Luck, and the Arena. SAFETY REMINDERS: Do not “straight-line” or “bomb” down trails. Do not ride or ski too fast or recklessly. Take extra caution around lift loading/unloading stations. Read the Skier’s Responsibility code.

GRAB A BITE: In between runs, head to the Tannery Restaurant & Pub, the Base Lodge Food CourtOpen Pit Grille (Fridays, Saturdays, & Sundays), Waffle Cabin, or Saddle Lodge for delicious food and beverages all day long. The Food Court Lunch Special today is a Fried Haddock w/ Fries for $13.
