It’s time for yet another ski resort rankings list. Last week, the Wall Street Journal gave its opinion on what the best ski resorts in North America are. They amassed data from OnTheSnow and rated the ski resorts on three qualities: snow, terrain, and après.

The results? They’re honestly not that bad. Here’s their top ten.

10. Breckenridge Resort

9. Big Sky

8. Winter Park

7. Mammoth Mountain

6. Aspen Snowmass

5. Mt Bachelor

4. Snowbird

3. Jackson Hole

2. Palisades Tahoe

1. Whistler Blackcomb

I feel like most of these are pretty reasonable picks, especially the top four. Mt. Bachelor is a surprising pick for the top five, but it’s helped out by its colossal annual snowfall. Winter Park has its fair share of critics due to the weekend crowds, but it was probably my favorite mountain I visited on my trip to Colorado last year.

Disclaimer: my opinion on Winter Park may have been helped out by visiting on a Friday, along with them having a few Waffle Cabins.
