With all the hubbub around the upcoming 2023 Ryder Cup to be played at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, Rome, Italy it remind me of tour player who fancies himself an ace skier. 28-year-old Austrian golfer Matthias Schwab plays on the European Tour and the PGA but in an alternate reality he thinks he could have been a pro skier. Kinda weird how he phrases it “as an Austrian” like any Austrian can go pro on the slopes but he’s not afraid to post clips of himself crashing the gates (see IG video below). Would love to see him go head to head with Phil Mickelson who also fancies himself a bit of shredding when he not gracing fairways. Who you got…Lefty or Schwab?
