The other day, I was watching some old ski footage. I was surprised by how much it looks indistinguishable from the latest ski footage. There hasn’t seem to be much in the way of progression in ski films and I was wondering if the next step could actually be taken. Then today I’m on Instagram and BAM there it is. This shot from MSP’s new film The Land of GIANTS is at a level we have not seen before.

To pull off a shot like this you need a real partnership between the skier and the drone operator (yes, operator. I refuse to call people who fly drones pilots. Sorry). Anyway, this is the next-level ski film making that will grab the people’s attention and give them something they have never seen before. Well done MSP can’t wait to see the new film.
