Sunday River Auctioning 105 Chairs From The Barker Chairlift

All you Sunday River skiers and snowboarders looking to own your own small piece of the mountain get ready break out your credit cards to place your bid in the upcoming auction of 105 chairs from the resort’s Barker Chairlift set to begin July 27th (minimum bid $500). For more info GO HERE:

Auction Details

The auction will begin on July 21, 2023 at 12:30 PM, and end at midnight on July 27, 2023.
The highest 105 bids will be accepted. In the event of a tie bid, the earliest bid will be awarded the chair.
Auction winners will be able to pick up a chair on September 16, 23, 30, or October 7. Pick-up times will be between 8AM and 2PM.
Auction winners will be awarded one River Fest mug, good for discounts for three select weekends throughout our series of events this fall.
All proceeds benefit Maine Adaptive, The River Fund Maine, and the MSAD 44 Daycare Initiative.
Not all chair numbers are available, and chair numbers cannot be reserved or pre-chosen.

Bidding Process

The auction will be held online via the Givergy online auction platform. Bidders are required to set up a Givergy account and input a valid credit card. Only winning bids will be charged.
The auction will be held in a sealed bid format. The minimum bid is $500.

Payment

Credit card payment is required to purchase via the Givergy platform. No special offers or discounts can be applied to this purchase. BoyneRewards cannot be applied to this purchase.

Pick-Up Details

Winning bidders must pick up their chairs on September 16, 23, 30, or October 7, between 8AM and 2PM. Chairs can be picked up in the upper parking lot of the South Ridge Base Area, also known as Lot 3.
Sunday River will load your purchased chair into your truck or trailer but is not responsible for any damage during loading. Please bring appropriate means of securing the chair for transport.
If you do not pick up your chair by 2PM on October 7, any payment will be forfeited, and the chair will be retained as property of Sunday River.

Dimensions: 13’1″ high, 7’6″ wide, and 2’6″ deep.
