More than 200 South African firefighters have been deployed to help combat Canada’s wildfires. Upon landing in Edmonton the brave men and women performed a dance that in all honesty got me a bit choked up. To see people come from across the world to do a tough and dangerous job and be so joyful is absolutely incredible.

Here’s another video of the firefighters singing and dancing before the head into battle the wildfires in Canada that have decimated millions of acres of land, displaced over 20,000 people, and left cities on the eastern seaboard vailed in smoke. Godspeed to these South African firefighters, the Canadian firefighters who they will be working alongside and all the firefighters out there who risk there lives day in and day out to keep us safe.
