As Paul McCartney and TLC once said: Don’t go chasing waterfalls. Except if you’re in Vermont, then you should definitely chase waterfalls because many are easy to hike to.

YouTuber Adam Hoyt recently released a video that ranks the fifteen best waterfall hikes in Vermont. In the video, he describes the hikes and rates the difficulty in getting to them. His top five include Moss Glen Falls near Stowe, Big Falls in Troy, Lye Brook Falls near Manchester, Hamilton Falls near Jamaica, and Thundering Brook Falls in Killington.

I’ve personally been to Warren and Thundering Brook Falls, which were both awesome experiences. Warren Falls is a super easy hike right off Route 100. I agree with Thundering Brook Falls being the top pick, as it’s definitely among the best waterfalls that I’ve ever seen. I personally believe that photos and videos don’t do Thunderbook Brook justice, and you have to see it to believe it.

The video from Adam Hoyt is below, and you can watch more of his hiking content here. For a further breakdown of New England’s waterfalls, I’d recommend checking out NewEnglandWaterfalls.com.
