Snowboarder Chloe Kim had a front row seat at a table with Angelina Jolie for black-tie state dinner at the White House hosted in honor of South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol. The Olympic champion didn’t sport her heavy duty hardware, joking with reporters:
“I didn’t wear my medal, I don’t know where it is.”
Guests were treated to Maryland crab cakes, braised beef short ribs and banana split for desserts. After dinner the South Korean President provided a rousing rendition of Don McLean’s 1971 hit song “American Pie” which was awesome.
Being one of the best snowboarders on the planets definitely has its perks.
